This piece should be in the Dali don't you think?

Thunder Bumper starting to overpower the cars in the park....Thank God for outrageous thunderstorms to chase the trash and their noise pollution out of the park. Unfortunately the rug from my former post would not agree, Bob is not a thunder dog.

Two things I want to bring up this evening for my closest and dearest to comment on. One Halloween is coming. This may be a minor event to the rest of the world but it is my all time favorite holiday. Even better with offspring. This is a pivotal year. From this point on Popeye and Piper will have an opinion and thus a say in what they impersonate for an entire evening while begging strangers for candy. This is it folks, (at least for the complete momma freedom I have had). I need suggestions. The first Halloween they were well not even three weeks old and due to their size and development we can say that they went as five pound exotic pets in candy corn onsies. Pebbles and Bam Bam followed and man did they fit the part!! Last year, thing one and thing two, so friggin cute!!! I will dig through my picture DVD's and post a pic or two for reference. I will take into considerations and will offer the winning suggestion all kudos!!

I as so many mothers have been attempting to potty train my little two year olds. Piper who I thought had mastered the pot at about 14 months had dismissed the whole idea as nonsense and only within the last two months really started back up full scale again. Popeye is a sweet pudgy faced darling on the potty singing and humming feet dangling and all. That boy will sit for hours and not complain once. After a long stint I will remove the child from the pot and he will promptly go in his diaper.............so frustrating. To make matters worse, (or at least more amusing) I had treated my girl to a tootsie roll upon completion of her duty. She took to this quite well and proceeded to use the pottie quite extensively. Upon emptying her pottie one day I noticed it smelled like apple juice, (NO I DIDN'T TASTE IT TO BE SURE). After careful monitoring I noticed that when she wanted a treat and did not feel the urge she just dumped her juice into the potty and then called momma to inspect. Well at least I know they are orally fixated.

I will see about new Indoor air news come Monday. If you get a chance visit some of the links I have posted they are some of my favorite sites/blogs. Any suggestions on additional links would be great too.

Oh by the way the picture is a hearty slice of mozzarella left in my parents beach house fridge for about three months. Who said nature wasn't beautiful.

How about care bears? They seem to really like them. This maybe too much work though because you would probably have to make them, since the stores are usually plastic and cheesy. What about a plane or train for Jake, and maybe a fairy or butterfly for Emma. Of course you probabaly want to do a duo since this might be your last chance. I'll brainstorm and get back to ya.shan

Oh by the way Mike thought the cheese looked like a decorative pillow

Thanks Shan, you are right I was hoping for my final Duo get up but those are good ideas. I am also a finatic about what I give out,(i make bags) and of course the perfectly creepy yard, Maggies Bone Yard. Ha Ha Mike I knew I'd get someone on that pic. I myself was thinking of going as Mr. Wipple complete with lab coat, bowtie, glasses and Charmin.

who said that? Shan? When we were in old NE they came by the busloads never ending you couldn't have enough candy....it was great fun till the punks at the end of the night who were way too old and obviously not from the neighborhood. I was all set the first year in this house, with great little bags with toys and chips and sweets. We got bout 13 total and two of the moms were loaded (drunk that is and hangin out of the costumes), I cried, ( my mom got bout seven and I had her equally stocked) This year I will make up thirty bags thats it.
