Prettiest princess

Every night around 8:00 the bedtime ritual ensues and I send the twins to pick their stories. Squish B will return without question with some book about Thomas. Lately A has been coming back with a princess book in hand. Most of our books are second hand , yard sales or hand me downs which is fine with me. Some of the selections I have stocked for instance the numerous Thomas books ,(you get pretty tired of reading the same book every time). I'm not a real girly girl and A has always preferred animals and dinosaurs so I never thought to acquire any princess books. Luckily my friend Beck had sent a great selection in her last delivery. The book has about five abbreviated stories of the basic (Walt Disney) princess'; Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Beauty and the Beast and The little Mermaid. Each night I ask her which story she wants and she always answers, "Snow White". finally last night I had to ask her why this story was her favorite and she matter of factly replied that, "Snow White is the prettiest!!!" I hadn't really ever considered that one was prettier than the other only that they looked pretty benign to me feature wise. I really would have thought she would have an affinity to a red headed princess as she herself sports some fabulous red hair but alas the black hair wins. So after she went off to sleep I sat down to rate the princess' myself and I realized something. Snow white looks much younger and less developed Than the other princess' maybe this is the attraction, more girl like, or maybe my daughter will be a "goth" someday.

A also wanted to know how and who named the princess Snow White. So I had to do a bit of research, as princess' are not my forte' . I was surprised that Snow White had such a history beyond the Disney picture. I am excited to tell my little girl the beginning of the story.
So which Disney Princess is the prettiest? Not until the more recent princess' did the little royalty even show faults, honestly, Ariel is quite stubborn , more human so I tend to like the modern version better but I guess perfection is part of the fairy tale. Any favorites out there?
